‘‘Together it works’’

   ‘‘Together it works’’

RESULTS:

The consortium will develop European training courses for E-bike dealers and their mechanics.
The creation of an 'assessment' tool, which will allow any training institute in Europe to develop previously acquired competences of E-bike bikes of dealers and their mechanics based on the competence profile in this collaborative project. This assessment will enable the training institute to identify any problems in their current knowledge and, in addition, tailor-made training to bridge these gaps will be offered.

The consortium also plans to set up certification for dealers and their mechanics. This will enable them to improve their professional competences in the field of pedelecs, which ultimately improves the connection with consumers. The Bicycle Academy and CELF will develop actual courses based on this profile.A pilot will be set up of the developed courses by EKOLO (CZ) and Vilnius (LT) as partners of the previous project. The partners consider this 2013 - TOI project as a step in a very long-term process. The final idea is to set up a 'European Two wheel Academy ' that develops European harmonised training for all segments in the two-wheeler industry. This would significantly simplify, stimulate and accelerate practice and development in this field in all member states where training is not yet available or needs to be adapted. This will be achieved through a general course for all stakeholders at a European workshop in Brussels . This is a first step in the development of more courses, which will be disseminated, updated and further developed by a so-called European Two-Wheeler Academy.

Establish a practical European Two Wheel Academy for this sector, available in cost, time efficiency to a wide range of potential users.

The E -bike is becoming increasingly popular, so a European innovative academy in this field is needed with uniform assessment and learning materials, which are the same across Europe.
