RESULTS:
-
Developing an innovative training package (sub-qualification) in the free space of the Qualification Structure Installation and/or Electrical;
-
Making this sub-qualification (as well as the profession) attractive and accessible by using ICT tools;
-
Preventing a shortage of qualified 'MOT inspectors' and 'EPA-U advisors';
-
Implementing the new sub-qualification in the training programme of the 7 participating ROCs;
-
National dissemination of the new sub-qualification and the project results by the consortium partners;
-
Creating a platform for educational institutes, companies and students to exchange information on the sub-qualification and the subject areas 'APK inspector' for buildings and 'EPA-U advisor', such as developments in the field of building-related installations (innovations) and changing laws and regulations.
Establish and maintain knowledge exchange between installation engineering companies and vocational education. In particular for assessing the technical condition of building installations and also for energy performance in general. And through this project, designing an innovative training package (including sub-qualifications) within the free space of the Qualification Structure Installation and/or Electrical within the MBO institutions.
For years, MOT inspection existed only for the automotive industry, where vehicles are tested against safety and environmental requirements. Since this did not yet exist for homes, here would be an opportunity to adopt this MOT inspection in the field of homes as well. Especially since there appeared to be a gap between the knowledge present in the business community and in vocational education in terms of basic knowledge of building-related dossiers. It was therefore necessary to develop a course called 'APK for dwellings', especially in the field of safety, but also in the field of sustainability, where participants will carry out projects, learn to inspect and advise in this field. In this way, homes are made safer and unnecessary emissions are also prevented.
