‘‘Together it works’’

   ‘‘Together it works’’

RESULTS:

People with employment disabilities experience great inequality of opportunity in the labour market. Skills+ 3.0 addresses this problem by increasing their opportunities. The project organises national and European skills competitions, allowing people with disabilities to showcase their talents and employers to demonstrate what they have to offer. To support job coaches and social workers, a digital manual is being developed. Employers, on the other hand, will receive a toolkit with practical tips for creating inclusive workplaces. Through branding and dissemination, Skills+ will be promoted as a European initiative.

In addition to these activities, Skills+ 3.0 hopes to become active in 20 European countries and achieve concrete results. These include: one digital manual, eight national skills competitions, one European Skills+ competition,a toolkit with tips for inclusive workplaces, and a strong branding and dissemination plan. Ultimately, Skills+ 3.0 aims to improve employment for young adults and adults with disabilities by highlighting their skills, boosting their self-confidence and providing them with valuable training.
