‘‘Together it works’’

   ‘‘Together it works’’

RESULTS:

  • Tools and modules exchanges: First, all European partners share their existing tools and methods in each European country involved in the consortium, which deal with international mobility;

  • Realisation of some concrete tools, which can be used by the beneficiaries (participants of international mobility projects);

  • List of existing tools and methods in the field of capitalisation and promotion of international mobility within Europe (in the 5 countries involved);

  • A portfolio on skills of the participant to capitalise all competences and analyse knowledge learned and development during the international mobilities of the project and identify the difference between the situation before and after the international mobility project;

  • Creating an innovative IT tool regarding labour market needs (to match them with the beneficiaries' attempts to return to the labour market after the international mobility project);

  • Online platform to collect and share tools and methods both on formal and non-formal learning of workers (and other information from e.g. local, national and European organisations/institutions linked to social inclusion, employment and international mobility);

  • Creating a framework for interviews (for employers and employees on the labour market in relation to international mobility);

  •  Practical guide on international mobility and its beneficiaries.

PC IMPRESS is a project which deals with international mobility. International mobility is now seen - all over Europe - as a new, non-formal education opportunity for people to achieve new personal but also professional skills incl. new experiences. It is seen as a very good and important non-formal way of education which offers experience to people (general for people with fewer opportunities) to increase their social and professional possibilities. Several programmes of international mobility already exist (courtesy of institutional support at local, national and European levels), which is a testament to the importance of these opportunities in our global world and society. Yet, there is a real lack of tools and methods to help people benefit and promote such international experience after their return.

CAUSE:

GOALS:

  • Increase concrete values such as ('soft') skills, an open attitude, self-confidence and more through a mobility experience of people with fewer opportunities (unemployed, immigrants etc) to increase their chances in the current labour market.
