RESULTS:

The project will create a new mind-set among adult education teachers, introducing new innovative educational methodologies.

The 'iFlip' package will consist of several "Intellectual Outputs" (concept framework, analysis report, learning materials, iFLIP concept - pilot - implementation - evaluation, manual and quality management), which will be available in partner countries at various adult education institutions.

A website will be developed to make all kinds of communication available to a wider audience. It will contain information about the project, as well as information about project partners, goals, activities and results. It will be available in all languages of the partner countries.

A Facebook page will also be developed to share the project idea and results. It will provide an opportunity to exchange concerned information as/about teachers, schools, exchange ideas, experiences and feedback on the pilots.

 A dissemination plan and materials (e.g. flyer) will be developed to disseminate the project at conferences and seminars by the partners during the life of the project. This dissemination will be supported by the development of online newsletters in all partner country languages. All other expected outputs are the "Intellectual Outputs" mentioned above, as well as events and all activities around learning in general, a particular training and teaching activities.

Learning adults differ widely in basic skills and effective strategies to bridge the gap within learning, communication, social life, etc. This calls for skilled and well-equipped adult education, innovative methods adapted to the needs of learning adults and materials that support their progress. This project addresses all three priorities of introducing innovative technology and addressing the needs of both target groups - adult teachers and students.

CAUSE:

This project focuses on the priority skills of adult teachers through the introduction of Flipped Classroom in adult education. The overall goal of the project is to determine and adapt adult learners' needs and desires and the use of Flipped Classroom to meet those needs. By developing a methodology and materials regarding Flipped Classroom for and by adult teachers, it aims to improve the quality of their work and provide them with tools and approaches that they can use to plan their lessons and deliver good content. Teachers will use the method for the first time themselves, learning about the phenomenon by participating in the course. With this knowledge gained, they will start using the concept to develop learning materials, which will be adapted to the needs of adult learners.
