‘‘Together it works’’

   ‘‘Together it works’’

RESULTS:

  • Conducting operations within healthcare facilities more cost-effectively;

  • Strengthening the connection between professional practice and theory;

  • Deployment of EVC (Previously Acquired Competencies) and portfolio methodologies for individual competency-based development;

  • Further development of the 'concept' of problem-based education (PBL);

  • Further defining professional competencies and professions (Medical Technician);

  • Applying innovative learning methods;

  • Making the new (partial) qualifications and teaching materials widely available to the education sector through a pilot;

  • Curricular implementation for incumbent staff within healthcare institutions (increasing employability);

  • Meeting the demand of healthcare institutions, namely broader employability of currently undertrained qualified technical staff;

  • Meeting student demand for attractive training.

To innovate the 'Instrumentation Maintenance Technician' course by adding new specialized training elements in an ICT-oriented learning environment that will create a better connection between professional practice and theoretical development.

In the healthcare sector, the need for adequately qualified medical technicians for maintenance of medical technical systems, who can combine electronics, instrument knowledge and healthcare requirements, increased. Previously, there was no training program to meet this demand for specialists.
