   ‘‘Together it works’’

RESULTS:

  • Promoting career prospects and the development of entrepreneurial competencies;

  • Making available a sectorally recognizable educational offering for entrepreneurs / self-employed people, both in VT and BBL education;

  • By means of ''blended learning'' (integration of practice and theory by means of contact hours as well as e-learning) innovate the educational offer and the learning environment;

  • To have the business community, educational and knowledge institutions and experts engage in sustainable cooperation;

  • Carrying out 2 regional pilot projects with a total of at least 60 participants;

  • Disseminate results nationwide.

The engine of the European economy is the approximately 23 million small and medium-sized enterprises that make up 99% of all businesses. Promoting entrepreneurship therefore means boosting the engine of the economy and employment. However, the distance between professionals and entrepreneurs was too great. Moreover, there was a great distance between business and educational institutions (MBO) regarding entrepreneurship and the development of entrepreneurial skills and an entrepreneurial attitude. A consortium consisting of the business community, knowledge centers, educational institutions and expert partners therefore started the development of an innovative project, which focuses on the stimulation and broader application of entrepreneurship from MBO. The project focused on the creative - craft sector, a sector with great potential for start-ups and growing employment. However, the results were broadly transferable to a wide range of professions and sectors.
Innovating vocational education at MBO level (1-4) through the integral development of entrepreneurship within the existing vocational BBL and BOL.
